When the Toils of Life Are Over


1. 세상 모든 수고 끝나
   When the toils of life are o-ver
   우리 장막 벗고서
   And we lay our ar-mor down,
   모든 근심걱정 사라진 뒤에
   And we bid fare-well to earth with all its cares,
   주를 뵙고 성도 함께
   We shall meet and greet our loved ones,
   면류관을 쓰리라
   And our Christ we then shall crown
   새 예루살렘에서
   In the new Je-ru-sa-lem.

2. 가는 길이 외로워도
   Tho' the way is some-times lone-ly,
   주 날 붙드시리니
   He will hold me with His hand.
   시험 환난 근심 걱정 없으며
   Thro' the test-ings and the tri-als I must go,
   주를 믿고 따라가면
   But I'll trust and glad-ly fol-low,
   주의 뜻을 알리라
   For some-time I'll un-der-stand,
   새 예루살렘에서
   In the new Je-ru-sa-lem.

3. 내가 세상 작별하고
   When the last good-by is spo-ken
   눈물 흔적 거둔 뒤
   And the tear stains wiped a-way,
   주의 찬란하신 영광 비칠 때
   And our eyes shall catch a glimpse of glory fair,
   나를 구속하신 주를
   Then with bound-ing hearts we-ll meet
   기쁨으로 뵈오리
   Him Who hath washed our sins a-way,
   새 예루살렘에서
   In the new Je-ru-sa-lem.

4. 아름다운 그 곳에서
   When we join the ran-somed army
   구속 받은 성도와
   In the sum-mer-land a-bove,
   사랑하는 주를 만나 뵈올 때
   And the face of our dear Sav-iour we be-hold,
   주의 영광 노래하며
   We will sing and shout for-ev-er
   영원토록 살리라
   And we'll grow in per-fect love,
   새 예루살렘에서
   In the new Je-ru-sa-lem.
   성도들이 함께 올 때
   There'll be sing-ing, there'll be shout-ing
   기뻐 노래하리라
   When the saints come marching home,
   새 예루살렘 새 예루살렘
   In Je-ru-sa-lem, In Je-ru-sa-lem
   호산나를 높이 불러
   Wav-ing palms with loud ho-san-nas
   왕의 왕을 맞으리
   As the King shall take His throne,
   새 예루살렘에서
   In the new Je-ru-sa-lem.
