   Weep-ing will not save me!
   눈물 많이 흘려도
   Tho' my face were bathed in tears,
   겁을 없게 못하고

   Could not wash the sin of years!

   예수 고난 보셨네
   Je-sus suf-fered on the tree
   나를 구원하실
   Je-sus waits to make me free
   이 예수 밖에 없네
   He a-lone can save me!

2. 힘써도 못하네
   Work-ing will not save me!
   말과 뜻과 행실이
   Pu-rest deeds that I can do,
   깨끗하고 착해도
   Holi-est thoughts and feelings too,
   다시 나게 못하니
   Can-not form my soul a-new!
   힘써도 못하네
   Work-ing will not save me.
   십자가에 달려서
   Je-sus wept and died for me
   예수 고난 보셨네
   Je-sus suf-fered on the tree
   나를 구원하실
   Je-sus waits to make me free

3. 참아도 못하네
   Wait-ing will not save me!
   할 수 없는 죄인이
   Helpless, guil-ty, lost,I lie
   흉한 죄에 빠져서
   In my ear is Mer-cy's cry
   어찌 아니 죽을까
   If I wait I can but die
   참아도 못하네
   Wait-ing will not save me.

4. 믿으면 하겠네
   Faith in Christ will save me!
   주 예수만 믿어서
   Let me trust Thy weep-ing Son,
   그 은혜를 힘입고
   Trust the work that He has done
   오직 주께 나가면
   To His arms, Lord help me run
   영원 삶을 얻네
   Faith in christ will save me.
