You Shall Love God, Your Lord


1. 네 맘과 정성을
   You shall love God, your Lord,
   다하여서
   heart soul, and strength,
   주 너의 하나님을
   First of com-mand-ments for
   사랑하라
   all you life through.
   네 몸을 아끼고
   Next, As you che-rish and
   사랑하듯
   care for your-self,
   형제와 이웃을
   Broth-er and neigh-bor must
   사랑하라
   have your love too.
   주께서 우리게
   God has cam-mand-ed it!
   명하시니
   He is the Lord
   그 명령 따라서
   Ours to be faith-ful and
   살아가리
   live by this word.

2. 널 미워 해치는
   Love your im-pla-ca-ble,
   원수라도
   rav-ag-ing foe,
   언제나 너그럽게
   Show-ing them kind-ness while
   사랑하라
   still it is day.
   널 핍박하는 자
   For those who per-se-cute,
   위해서도
   too, you must learn,
   신실한 맘으로
   Hon-est-ly ask-ing their
   복을 빌라
   wel-fare, to pray.
   주께서 우리게
   God has com-man-ed it!
   명하시니
   He is the Lord
   그 명령 따라서
   Ours to be faith-ful and
   살아가리
   live by this word.

3. 나 항상 주님을
   God-mock-er, broth-er's bane
   훼방하고
   care-less I lived,
   형제를 억울하게
   Al-ways re-bel-lious and
   괴롭혔다
   flout-ing con-trol.
   이러한 죄인을
   Yet Christ, inlove, for a
   사랑하사
   crea-ture like this,
   주께서 몸 버려
   Gave up Him-self on the
   죽으셨다
   cross for my soul!
   속죄의 큰사랑
   Love has a-chiev'd it! I'm
   받은 이 몸
   cleans'd and for-giv'n.
   생명을 다 바쳐
   Now to be faith-ful through
   충성하리 아-멘
   life and in heav'n. A-men.
