주는 나를 기르시는 목자
While the Lord is My Shepherd


1. 주는 나를 기르시는 목자요
   While the Lord is my Shep-herd and I'm kept in His care,
   나는 주님의 귀한 어린 양
   Like a lame, dear and pre-cious in His sight,
   푸른 풀밭 맑은 시냇물가로
   By the soft-flow-ing wa-ters and the grass grow-ing there
   나를 늘 인도하여 주신다
   I find pas-ture and shel-ter day and night.
   주는 나의 좋은 목자
   Yes, the Lord is my good Shep-herd,
   나는 그의 어린 양
   I the lamb with-ing His care!
   철을 따라 꼴을 먹여 주시니
   He Still leads me and feeds me where the green pas-tures
   내게 부족함 전혀 없어라
   grow, And I lack no-thing, ev-er, an-y-where!

2. 예쁜 새들 노래하는 아침과
   When the bird-song at dawn-ing makes the morn-ing re-joice,
   노을 비끼는 고운 황혼에
   Or the sun, set-ting, sets the skies a-flame,
   사랑하는 나의 목자 음성이
   I re-joice in the sum-mons of my dear Shep-herd's voice,
   나를 언제나 불러 주신다
   And no sound is so love-ly as His name.
   주는 나의 좋은 목자
   Yes, the Lord is my good Shep-herd,
   나는 그의 어린 양
   I the lamb with-ing His care!
   철을 따라 꼴을 먹여 주시니
   He Still leads me and feeds me where the green pas-tures
   내게 부족함 전혀 없어라
   grow, And I lack no-thing, ev-er, an-y-where!

3. 못된 짐승 나를 해치 못하고
   E-vil beasts can not harm me while my Shep-herd is near,
   거친 비바람 상치 못하리
   Nor the wind nor the rain can do me harm.
   나의 주님 강한 손을 펼치사
   Night and day He is read-y with His arms open here,
   나를 주야로 지켜 주신다
   And I rest in the safe-ty of that arm.
   주는 나의 좋은 목자
   Yes, the Lord is my good Shep-herd,
   나는 그의 어린 양
   I the lamb with-ing His care!
   철을 따라 꼴을 먹여 주시니
