1. 후일에 생명 그칠 때
   Some day the sil-ver cord will break,
   여전히 찬송 못 하나
   And I no more as now shall sing
   성부의 집에 깰 때에
   But oh, the joy when I shall wake
   내 기쁨 한량없겠네
   With-ing the pal-ace of the King!
   내주 예수 뵈올 때
   And I shall see Him face to face,
   그 은혜 찬송하겠네
   And tell the sto-ry Saved by grace

2. 후일에 장막 같은 몸
   Some day my earth-ly house will fall,
   무너질 때는 모르나
   I can-not tell how soon 'twill be
   정녕히 내가 알기는
   But this I know my All in
   주 예비하신 집 있네
   All Has now a place in heav'n for me.
   내주 예수 뵈올 때
   And I shall see Him face to face,
   그 은혜 찬송하겠네
   And tell the sto-ry Saved by grace

3. 후일에 석양 가까와
   Some day, when fades the gold-en sun
   서산에 해가 질 때에
   Be-neath the ro-sy-tint-ed west,
   주께서 쉬라 하실 때
   My bless-ed Lord will say, "Well done!"
   영원한 안식 얻겠네
   And I shall en-ter in-to rest.

   And I shall see Him face to face,

4. 그 날을 늘 기다리고
   Some day: till then I'll then I'll watch and wait,
   내 등불 밝게 켰다가
   My lamp all trimmed and burn-ing bright,
   주께서 문을 여실 때
   That when my Sav-iour ope's the gate,
   이 영혼 들어가겠네
   My soul to Him may take its flight.
