God Gave His Only Begotten Son


1. 하나님은 외아들을
   God gave His on-ly begot-ten Son
   주시는데 까지
   To meet our dy-ing need
   세상 사랑 사랑하니
   In love spar'ds not His best-lov'd One!
   참 사랑이로다
   Ah! this is love in-deed!
   하나님은 사랑이라
   Yes! God is love and to a race
   죄악에 빠졌던
   Still sunk in sin and greed,
   우리까지 사랑하니
   He o-ver-flows with love and grace!
   참 사랑 아닌가
   Is this not love in-deed!

2. 하나님을 배반하고
   Though we re-bel a-gainst our Lord,
   멀리 떠난 우리
   And live from His es-trang'd,
   원수 같이 대적하나
   Make God our foe and flout His word,
   사랑하여 주네
   His love re-mains un-chang'd.
   하나님은 사랑이라
   Yes! God is love and to a race
   죄악에 빠졌던
   Still sunk in sin and greed,
   우리까지 사랑하니
   He o-ver-flows with love and grace!
   참 사랑 아닌가
   Is this not love in-deed!

3. 세상 죄를 사하시려
   To save this earth, our sin a-tone,
   우리 죽을 대신
   And spare us ut-ter loss,
   성자 예수 십자가에
   The Ho-ly Son bore all a-lone
   고난 받으셨네
   Our tor-ment on the Cross.
   하나님은 사랑이라
   Yes! God is love and to a race
   죄악에 빠졌던
   Still sunk in sin and greed,
   우리까지 사랑하니
   He o-ver-flows with love and grace!
   참 사랑 아닌가
   Is this not love in-deed!

4. 이 사랑에 감복하여
   Be mov'd by this a-maz-ing love
   곧 주께 나오라
   And seek your Sav-iour's face!
   곤한 영혼 주께 맡겨
   Com-mit your soul to God a-bove,
   구원을 얻으라
   And so be sav'd by grace!
   하나님은 사랑이라
   Yes! God is love and to a race
