하늘 가는 밝은 길이
The Bright, Heavenly Way


1. 하늘 가는 밝은 길이
   The bright, heav'n-ly way, be-fore me,
   내 앞에 있으니
   Lies clear-ly in my sight
   슬픈 일을 많이 보고
   And though sor-rows sore be-set me,
   늘 시험하여도
   And trou-bles black as night,
   하늘 영광 밝음이
   At the splen-dor from the skies
   어둔 그늘 헤치니
   Ev-'ry dark-ling shad-ow flies,
   예수 공로 의지하여
   While we trust the grace of Je-sus
   항상 빛을 보도다
   And look ev-er to that Light.

2. 내가 걱정하는 일이
   When I think on all the wor-ries
   세상에 많은 중
   Which in my world I see,
   속에 근심밖에 걱정
   In-ner fears and out-er tri-als
   늘 시험하여도
   Seem nigh too much for me
   예수 보배로운 피
   But the blood of Christ our Lord
   모든 것을 이기니
   Puts them whol-ly to the sword,
   예수 공로 의지하여
   While we trust the grace of Je-sus
   항상 이기리로다
   And shall ev-er vic-tors be.

3. 내가 천성 바라보고
   Draw-ing near-er to that ci-ey
   가까이 왔으니
   Yet seen by faith a-lone,
   아버지의 영광 집에 가
   Long-ing for the Fa-ther's man-sions
   쉴 맘 있도다
   And rest be-fore the throne,
   나는 부족하여도
   All un-worth-y though I be
   영접하실 터이니
   There is wel-come there for me,
   영광 나라 계신 임금
   For the King is our own Je-sus,
   우리 구주예수라
   Lord and Sav-iour of His own.
