With Christ as My Pilot


1. 큰 물결이 설레는 어둔 바다
   With Christ as my Pi-lot though bil-lows be high,
   저 등대의 불빛도 희미한데
   Though dim be the light-house and dark sea and sky,
   이 풍랑에 배 저어 항해하는
   With Christ at the helm ev-'ry gale we en-dure,
   주 예수님 이 배의 사공이라
   For Je-sus the Sav-iour is my Pi-lot sure.
   나 두렴없네 두렴없도다
   I no-thing can fear! I no-thing can dread!
   주 예수님 늘 깨어 계시도다
   For Jesus keeps watch here, and by Him I am led.
   이 흉흉한 바다를 다 지나면
   My seas may be rough, but when voy'-ges are past,
   저 소망의 나라에 이르리라
   My ha-ven of hope will be heav-en at last.

2. 큰 풍랑이 이 배를 위협하며
   Though tem-pests may threat-en the craft and the crew,
   저 깊은 물 입 벌려 달려드나
   And wide gape the jaws of the deep for me, too,
   이 바다에 노 저어 항해하는
   With Christ at the oar I am safe in His will,
   주 예수님 이 배의 사공이라
   And Je-sus my Sav-iour is my Pi-lot still.
   나 두렴없네 두렴없도다
   I no-thing can fear! I no-thing can dread!
   주 예수님 늘 깨어 계시도다
   For Jesus keeps watch here, and by Him I am led.
   이 흉흉한 바다를 다 지나면

3. 큰 소리로 물결을 명하시면
   If Je-sus but speak, in His voice of great pow'r,
   이 바다는 고요히 잠자리라
   The bil-lows must sleep and be still from that hour,
   저 동녘에 환하게 밝아올 때
   And I at the bright-ness of dawn-ing, shall be,
   나 주 함께 이 바다 건너가리
   With Je-sus, my Pi-lot, safe o-ver the sea.
   나 두렴없네 두렴없도다
   I no-thing can fear! I no-thing can dread!
   주 예수님 늘 깨어 계시도다
