Abide With Me


1. 때 저물어 날 이미 어두니
   A-bide with me: fast falls the e-ven-tide
   구주여 나와 함께 하소서
   The dark-ness deep-ens, Lord, with me a-bide:
   내 친구 나를 위로 못할 때
   When oth-er help-ers fail, and com-forts flee,
   날 돕는 주여 함께 하소서
   Help of the help-less, O a-bide with me.

2. 내 사는 날이 속히 지나고
   Swift to its close ebbs out life's lit-tle day
   이 세상 영광 빨리 지나네
   Earth's joys grow dim, its glo-ries pass a-way
   이 천지 만물 모두 변하나
   Change and de-cay in all a-round I see
   변찮는 주여 함께 하소서
   O Thou who chang-est not, a-bide with me.

3. 주 홀로 마귀 물리치시니
   I need Thy pres-ence ev-ery pass-ing hour
   언제나 나와 함께 하소서
   What but Thy grace can foil the tempt-er's pow'r
   주같이 누가 보호하리까
   Who like Thy-self my guide and stay can be
   사랑의 주여 함께 하소서
   Through cloud and sun-shine, O a-bide with me.

4. 이 육신 쇠해 눈을 감을 때
   Hold Thou Thy cross be-fore my clos-ing eyes
   십자가 밝히 보여 주소서
   Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies
   내 모든 슬픔 위로 하시고
   Heav'n's morn-ing breaks and earth's vain shad-ows flee
   생명의 주여 함께 하소서 아-멘
   In life, in death, O Lord, a-bide with me. A-men.
