1. 주의 말씀 듣고서
   Those who hear and do the word
   준행하는 자는
   Of the Mas-ter ev-er,
   반석 위에 터 닦고
   Build a house on sol-id rock,
   집을 지음 같아
   To be shak-en nev-er.
   비가 오고 물 나며
   When the rains, and floods ap-pall,
   바람 부딪쳐도
   All the tem-pests' fu-ry
   반석 위에 세운 집
   Can-not shake it, stand-ing tall,
   넘어지지 않네
   On the rock, se-cure-ly.
   잘 짓고 잘 짓세
   Build we well, Build to last,
   우리 집 잘 짓세
   Build our house to-geth-er
   만세 반석 위에다
   On the Rock of A-ges, fast,
   우리 집 잘 짓세
   Build to stand for-ev-er!

2. 주의 말씀 듣고도
   Those who hear and do not do,
   행치 않는 자는
   In the words de-light-ing,
   모래 위에 터 닦고
   Build a house on shift-ing sand,
   집을 지음 같아
   Ru-in swift in-vit-ing.
   비가 오고 물 나며
   When the rains and floods ap-pall,
   바람 부딪칠 때
   As the blows fall fast-er,
   모래 위에 세운 집
   Built on sand, the house must fall.
   크게 무너지네
   In com-plete dis-as-ter.
   잘 짓고 잘 짓세
   Build we well, Build to last,
   우리 집 잘 짓세
   Build our house to-geth-er
   만세 반석 위에다
   On the Rock of A-ges, fast,
   우리 집 잘 짓세
   Build to stand for-ev-er!

3. 세상 모든 사람들
   No one lives but builds a house,
   집을 짓는 자니
   High or low our sta-tion,
   반석 위가 아니면
   Builds on Christ the Rock, or else
   모래 위에 짓네
   Sand, with-out found-a-tion.
   우리 구주 오셔서
   Christ will come and judge us each
   지은 상을 줄 때
   Af-ter our en-deav-or,
   세운 공력 따라서
   Rock or sand, to fall or stand,
   영영 상벌주리
   Stand or fall for-ev-er.
   잘 짓고 잘 짓세
   Build we well, Build to last,
   우리 집 잘 짓세
   Build our house to-geth-er
   만세 반석 위에다
   On the Rock of A-ges, fast,
   우리 집 잘 짓세
   Build to stand for-ev-er!
