| 가사 | 내 영혼아 곧 깨어 Awake, My Soul 1. 내 영혼아 곧 깨어 A-wake, my soul, with sing-ing! 주 찬양하여라 Sing prais-es to the Lord, 이 천지 만물 모두 Who rules all earth and heav-en 주 다스리시네 And guides them by His word. 저 높은 보좌 위에 Up-on His throne ex-alt-ed 주 앉아 계시니 He reigns for ev-er-more 그 빛난 위엄 앞에 Be-fore His awe-some splen-dor 다 경배하여라 We wor-ship and a-dore. 2. 큰 권능 가득하신 How full of might and mer-cy 대 주재 하나님 The God of time and space! 은혜로 섭리하신 How splen-did in its work-ing 그 역사 빛나네 The prov-i-dence of grace! 온 땅과 넓은 바다 How fair His earth and o-cean 또 높은 하늘에 And all His hand hath made! 주 창조하신 만물 How rich-ly in the heav-ens 참 아름답도다 His beau-ty is dis-play'd! 3. 나 고난 받을 때 In trou-bles or in hung-er 나 또 주릴 때에도 Of bo-dy or of soul, 내 주님 나를 항상 My Lord is ev-er near me 위로해 주시네 To com-fort and make whole. 추하고 곤궁하며 And though I'm poor and pal-try, 보잘 것 없으나 With noth-ing to dis-play, 주 나와 함께 계셔 My Lord still holds me pre-cious, 늘 권고하시네 And holds me close al-way. 4. 높으신 주의 이름 Our great God's name be-fit-ting, 다 어찌 기리랴 What prais-es can we frame 내 주는 높으시고 So high He is and ho-ly, 그 이름 귀하다 So pre-cious is His name! 나 비록 비천하나 What though I'm so un-worth-y 나 주의 것이니 I'm His whom I a-dore! 또 영원 무궁토록 And, His dear name ex-alt-ing, 주 이름 높이리 I'll praise Him ev-er-more. |
