1. 저 높고 넓은 하늘이
The heavens de-clare Thy glo-ry, Lord!
주 영광 선포하는데
In ev-'ry star Thy wis-dom shines
성경은 주의 이름을
But when our eyes be-hold Thy Word,
더 밝히 드러내도다
we read Thy name in fair-er lines.
2. 날마다 뜨는 저 태양
The ra-diant sun, the chang-ing light,
주 권능 알려주는데
And nights and days Thy power con-fess
거룩한 성경 말씀은
But the blest vol-ume Thou hast writ
주 크신 은혜 알린다
Re-veals Thy jus-tice and Thy grace.
3. 저 해와 달과 별들은
Thro' each bright world a-bove, be-hold
늘 주를 찬양하는데
Then thou-sand, thou-sand charms un-fold:
그 살아있는 진리는
Earth, air and might-y seas com-bine
온 세계 두루 퍼진다
To speak His wis-dom all di-vine.
4. 이 퍼져가는 복음과
Thy no-blest won-ders here we view
이 번져가는 진리는
In souls re-newed, and sins for-given
이 세상에서 영원히
Lord cleanse my sins,my soul re-new,
은혜와 함께 빛나리 아-멘
And make Thy Word my guide to heav'n. A-men.
