Open Now Thy Gates of Beauty
1. 아름다운 시온성아
O-pen now thy gates of beau-ty,
어서 문을 열어라
Zi-on, let me en-ter there,
그 곳에서 기쁨으로
Where my soul in joy-ful du-ty,
내주 예수 섬기리
Waits on Him who an-swers prayer:
복되도다 시온성
O how bless-ed is this place,
빛과 은총 넘치네
Filled with sol-ace, light, and grace.
2. 주님 앞에 나아가니
Here O God, I come be-fore Thee,
주여 내게 오소서
Come Thou al-so down to me
그 곳에서 주님 만나
Where we find Thee and a-dore Thee,
하늘나라 이루고
There a heaven on earth must be:
주님 모신 내 마음
To my heart O en-ter thou,
성전 되게 하소서
Let it be Thy tem-ple now.
3. 찬양소리 울려나고
Here Thy praise is glad-ly chant-ed,
복된 말씀 뿌려져
Here Thy seed is du-ly sown:
내 맘속에 자라나서
Let my soul wher it is plant-ed,
귀한 열매 맺으리
Bring forth pre-cious sheaves a-lone.
내가 들은 그 말씀
So that all I hear may be,
나의 생명 되도다
Fruit-ful un-to life in me.
4. 어떤 시험 당하여도
Thou my faith in-crease and quick-en,
나의 믿음 지키고
Let me keep Thy gift di-vine
주의 은사 내 심령을
How so-e'er temp-ta-tion thick-en,
북돋우어 주시며
May Thy Word still o'er me shine,
주의 말씀 등불이
As my pole-star through my life,
내 가는 길 비치네
As my com-fort in my strife.
5. 주여 말씀하옵소서
Speak, O God, and I will hear Thee,
그 뜻 이루오리다
Let Thy will be done in-deed
주님 베푼 잔치자리
May I un-dis-turbed draw near Thee,
나도 참여하리니
While Thou dost Thy peo-ple feed.
생명샘물 마시고
Here of life the foun-tain flows,
우리 소생하리라 아멘
Here is balm for all our woes. A-men.
