Humankind, the Work of God


1. 인류는 하나 되게
   Hu-man-kind, the work of God,
   지음 받은 한 가족
   Was cre-a-ted to be one.
   우리는 그 속에서
   We are all a fam-i-ly,
   협조하며 일하는
   Each with work which must be done.
   형제와 자매로다
   All one blood be-neath the sun

2. 죄악은 뿌리 깊게
   But with roots of hu-man sin
   우리 맘에 도사려
   Thrust-ing deep in-to the heart,
   편당심 일으키며
   Prej-u-dice and pride of place
   차별의식 넣어서
   Wall us off, keep us a-part.
   대화를 막으련다
   Con-tacts die be-fore they start,

3. 주님은 십자가로
   Then came Christ, and by the cross
   화해하는 본보여
   Showed us peace and hu-man worth.
   불신의 이 땅 위에
   In a world of um-be-lief
   믿음 사랑 되찾는
   He brings faith and love to birth.
   새 세계 명하신다
   His com-mand: Re-make the earth.

4. 영광도 부끄럼도
   We who share glo-ry and shame,
   함께 받는 우리니
   One in Je-sus, we and you,
   믿음과 희망으로
   Firm-ly bound in faith and hope,
   튼튼하게 뭉쳐서
   Let us dare and let us do!
