Not Worthy, Lord, to Gather
1. 주 앞에 성찬 받기 위하여
Not wor-thy, Lord, to gath-er up the crumbes
이 죄인 감히 나아옵니다
With trem-bling hand, that from Thy ta-ble fall,
주 공로 믿고 떨며 나오니
A wea-ry, heav-y-la-den sin-ner comes
내 죄를 용서하여 주소서
To plead Thy prom-ise and o-bey Thy call.
2. 죄 길로 나가 방황했으나
I am not wor-thy to be thought Thy child,
주 앞에 감히 돌아옵니다
Nor sit the last or low-est at Thy board
자녀 될 자격 내게 없어도
Too long a wan-derer, and too oft be-guiled,
주 나를 용납하여 주소서
I on-ly ask one rec-on-cil-ing word
3. 한번만 주의 음성 들어도
One word from Thee, my Lord! one smile, on look,
그 말씀 내게 능력 되어서
And I could face the cold, rough world a-gain,
이 세상 마귀 유혹 이기고
And with that treas-ure in my heart could brook
원수의 비방 막게 됩니다
The wrath of dev-ils and the scorn of men.
4. 온유한 주의 음성 듣고서
I heat Thy voice Thou bid'st me come and rest
죄인은 와서 쉬임 얻으며
I come, I kneel, I clasp Thy pierc-ed feet.
성도들 함께 참여하여서
Thou bid'st me take my place, a wel-come guest,
베푸신 잔치 먹게 됩니다
A-mong Thy saints, and of Thy ban-quet eat
5. 기도와 찬송 주께 드리고
My praise can only breathe it-self in pray'r
주님의 떡과 잔을 받으니
My pray'r can on-ly lose it-self in Thee.
내 맘에 주여 들어오셔서
Dwell Thou for ev-er in my heart, and there,
주 말씀 따라 살게 하소서 아-멘
Lord, let me sup with thee sup Thou with me! A-men.
