We Plow the Fields, and Scatter


1. 저 밭에 농부 나가
   We plow the fields, and scat-ter
   씨를 뿌려 놓은 후
   The good seed on the land,
   주 크신 능력 내려
   But it is fed and wa-tered
   잘 길러 주셨네
   By God's al-might-y hand
   또 사시 사철 따라
   He sends the snow in win-ter,
   햇빛과 단비를
   The warmth to swell the grain,
   저 밭에 내려주니
   The breez-es and the sun-shine,
   그 사랑 한 없네
   And soft re-fresh-ing rain.
   온각 귀한 선물
   All good gifts a-round us
   주님이 주신 것
   Are sent from heav'n a-bove
   그 풍성하신 은혜를
   Then thank the Lord, O thank the Lord
   다 감사 드리세
   For all His love.

2. 저 산과 들을 보라
   He on-ly is the Ma-ker
   참 아름답구나
   Of all things near and far
   길가의 고운 꽃도
   He paints the way-side flow-er,
   주님의 솜씨라
   He lights the eve-ning star
   저 공중 나는 새도
   The winds and waves o-bey Him,
   다 먹여주시니
   By Him the birds are fed
   그 사랑하는 자녀
   Much more to us, His chil-dren,
   돌보지 않으랴
   He gives our dai-ly bread.
   온각 귀한 선물
   All good gifts a-round us
   주님이 주신 것
   Are sent from heav'n a-bove
   그 풍성하신 은혜를
   Then thank the Lord, O thank the Lord
   다 감사 드리세
   For all His love.

3. 씨 뿌려 거둔 곡식
   We thank Thee, then, O Fa-ther,
   주님의 은혜라
   For all things bright and good,
   우리의 몸과 마음
   The seed-time and the har-vest,
   새 힘이 넘치네
   Our life, our health, our food
   주 은혜 받은 우리
   No gifts have we to of-fer
   참 감사하면서
   For all Thy love im-parts,
   이 예물 드리오니
   But that which Thou de-sir-est,
   다 받아주소서
   Our hum-ble thank-ful hearts.
