나 행한 것 죄 뿐이니
One Thing I of the Lord Desire


1. 나 행한 것 죄 뿐이니
   One thing I of the Lord de-sire,
   주 예수께 비옵기는
   For all my path hath mir-y been,
   나의 몸과 나의 맘을
   Be it by wa-ter or by fire,
   깨끗하게 하옵소서
   O make me clean, O make me clean.
   물가지고 날 씻든지
   So wash me, Thou, with-out, with-in,
   불가지고 태우든지
   Or purge with fire, if that must be
   내 안과 밖 다 닦으사
   No mat-ter how, if on-ly sin
   내 모든 죄 멸하소서
   Die out in me, Die out in me.

2. 내 어둔 눈 밝히시니
   If clear-er vi-sion Thou im-part,
   참 기쁘고 고마우나
   Grate-ful and glad my soul shall be
   그 보다 더 원하옴은
   But yet to have a pur-er heart
   정결한 맘 주옵소서
   Is more to me, Is more to me.
   물가지고 날 씻든지

3. 정결한 맘 그 속에서
   Yes, on-ly as this heart is clean
   신령한 빛 비치오니
   May larg-er vi-sion yet be mine,
   이러한 맘 나 얻으면
   For mir-rored in its depths are seen
   눈까지도 밝으리라
   The things di-vine, the things di-vine.
   물가지고 날 씻든지

4. 못된 행실 다 고치고
   I watch to shun the mir-y way,
   죄질 생각 다 버려도
   And stanch the springs of guilt-y thought,
   주 앞에서 정결타고
   But, watch and strug-gle as I may,
   자랑치는 못하리라
   Pure I am not, Pure I am not.
