양떼를 떠나서
I Was a Wandering sheep


1. 양떼를 떠나서
   I was a wan-d'ring sheep,
   길 잃어버린 나
   I did not love the fold
   목자의 소리 싫어서
   I did not love my Shep-herd's voice,
   먼 길로 나갔네
   I would not be con-trolled.
   방탕한 이 몸은
   I was a way-ward child,
   불효막심하여
   I did not love my home
   부친의 음성 싫어서
   I did not love my
   Fa-ther's voice,
   먼 길로 나갔네
   I loved a-far to roam.

2. 양 잃은 목자는
   The Shep-herd sought His sheep,
   그 양을 찾으러
   The Fa-ther sought His child
   산 넘고 물을 건너서
   They fol-lowed me o'er vale and hill,
   사막을 지났네
   O'er des-erts waste and wild
   갈 길을 모르고
   They found me nigh to death,
   나 지쳐있을 때
   Farm-ished and faint and lone
   그 목자 마침 나타나
   They bound me with the bands of love,
   날 구원하셨네
   They saved the wan-d'ring one.

3. 내 목자 예수는
   Je-sus my Shep-herd is,
   날 사랑하셔서
   'Twas He that loved my soul,
   내 상한 몸을 고치사
   'Twas He that washed me in His blood,
   그 피로 씻었네
   'Twas He that mede me whole
   길 잃은 양 찾아
   'Twas He that sought the lost,
   큰 위로 주시고
   That found the wan-d'ring sheep,
   그 우리 안에 이끌어
   'Twas He that brought me to the fold,
   늘 보호하시네
   'Tis He that still doth keep.

4. 양떼를 떠나서
   No more a wan-d'ring sheep,
   맘대로 다녔네
   I love to be con-troll'd
   나 지금 목자 따르며
   I love my ten-der Shep-herd's voice,
   그 음성 듣도다
   I love to prace-ful fold,
   나 이제 후로는
   No more a way-ward child,
   방황치 않으며
   I seek no more to roam
   내 아버지의 집에서
   I love my heav'n-ly Fa-ther's voice,
   영원히 살겠네 아-멘
   I love, I love His home. A-men.
