You Have Longed for Sweet Peace


1. 주의 주실 화평
   You have longed for sweet peace
   믿음 얻기 위해
   and for faith to in-crease,
   너는 정성껏
   And have ear-nest-ly
   기도 했나
   fer-vent-ly prayed
   주의 제단 앞에
   But you can-not have rest
   모두 바치기 전
   or be per-fect-ly blest
   복을 받을 줄
   Unt-il all on the
   생각마라
   al-tar is laid.
   주의 제단에
   Is your all on the
   산 제사 드린 후에
   al-tar of sac-ri-fice laid
   주 네 맘을
   Your heart does the
   주장하여
   Spir-it con-trol
   주의 뜻을 따라
   You can on-ly be blest
   그와 동행하면
   and have peace and sweet rest,
   영생 복락을
   As you yield Him your
   누리겠네
   bod-y and soul.

2. 주의 밝은 빛에
   Would you walk with the Lord
   항상 활동하며
   in the light of His Word
   선한 사업을
   And have peace and con-
   힘 쓰겠나
   tent-ment al-way
   자유 얻으려면
   You must do His sweet will
   주의 뜻을 좇아
   to be free from all ill
   너의 모든 것
   On the al-tar your
   희생하라
   all you must lay.
   주의 제단에

   모두 바친 후에
   He will send from a-bove,
   주와 온전히
   And how hap-py our
   사귀겠네
   heart will be made,
   주의 주신 기쁨
   Of the fel-low-ship sweet
   또한 그의 사랑
   We shall share at His feet
   어찌 말로
   When our all on
   다 형용하랴
