My One Wish, Lord, is This Alone


1. 내 평생 소원 이것 뿐
   My one wish, Lord, is this a-lone
   주의 일 하다가
   To serve Thee all my days,
   이 세상 이별하는 날
   Then rise to stand be-fore Thy throne
   주 앞에 가리다
   And sing Thy death-less praise

2. 꿈같이 헛된 세상 일
   Why should I cling to things of earth,
   취할 것 무어냐
   Like dreams which pass a-way,
   이 수고 암만 하여도
   Such dreams and toil-ings have no worth
   헛된 것 뿐 일세
   In heav'n's e-ter-nal day.

3. 불같은 시험 많으나
   The fier-y trials our faith in-curs,
   겁내지 맙시다
   Un-num-ber'd though they be,
   구주의 권능 크시니
   Fear not for more than con-quer-ors
   이기고 남겠네
   Through Je-sus Christ are we.

4. 금보다 귀한 믿음은
   More dear is faith than gems or gold
   참 보배되도다
   Rich jew-el we re-ceive
   이 진리 믿는 사람들
   Truth, flood-ing bless-ed-ness un-told
   다 복을 받겠네
   On all who but be-lieve.

5. 살같이 빠른 광음을
   Like ar-row-flight the mo-ments pass!
   주 위해 아끼세
   Re-deem, at Christ's con-trol,
   온몸과 맘을 바치고
   Thy days, and give on His be-half
   힘써서 일하세 아-멘
   Heart, bo-dy, strength and soul! A-men.
