Conquering Now and Still to Conquer


1. 군기를 손에 높이 들고
   Con-quer-ing now and still to con-quer,
   다 빨리 나아가세
   Rid-eth a King in His might,
   진리의 검을 앞세우고
   Lead-ing the host of all the faith-ful
   힘차게 싸워보세
   In-to the midst of the fight
   온몸에 갑주 입고서
   See them withe cour-age ad-vanc-ing,
   담대히 나가보세
   Clad in their bril-liant ar-ray,
   군기를 들고 나가세
   Shout-ing the name of their Lead-er,
   승리는 내 것일세
   Hear them ex-ult-ing-ly say
   십자가 군병들아
   Not to the strong is the bat-tle,
   두 손에 기를 들고
   Not to the swift is the race,
   용맹스럽게 싸우세
   Yet to the true and the faith-ful
   승리는 내 것일세
   vic-t'ry is prom-ised thro' grace.

2. 천국에 있는 천군천사
   Con-quer-ing now and still to con-quer,
   우리를 지키리라
   Who is this won-der-ful King
   하나님께서 내게 주신
   Whence are the ar-mies which He lead-eth,
   튼튼한 갑주입고
   While of His glo-ry they sing
   주님의 명령지켜서
   He is our Lord and Re-deem-er,
   어디든 다 나가세
   Sav-ior and Mon-arch di-vine
   하늘에 계신 주님이
   They are the stars that foe-ev-er
   우리를 맞으시리
   Bright in His King-dom will shine.
   십자가 군병들아
   Not to the strong is the bat-tle,
   두 손에 기를 들고
   Not to the swift is the race,
   용맹스럽게 싸우세
   Yet to the true and the faith-ful
   승리는 내 것일세

3. 주님의 원수 마귀들이
   Con-quer-ing now and still to con-quer,
   겁내어 달아날 때
   Je-sus, Thou Ru-ler of all,
   발걸음 빨리 재촉하여
   Thrones and their scepters all shall per-ish,
   앞으로 속히 나가
   Crowns and their splen-dor shall fall,
   원수를 정복하고서
   Yet shall the ar-mies Thou lead-est,
   인생을 구해내세
   Faith-ful and true to the last,
   죽음을 두려워말고
   Find in Thy man-sions e-ter-nal
   앞으로 전진하세
   Rest, when their warfare is past.
