나는 예수 따라가는
Am I a Soldier of the Cross


1. 나는 예수 따라가는
   Am I a sol-dier of the cross,
   십자가 군사라
   A fol-low-er of the Lamb,
   주 이름 증거하기를
   And shall I fear to own His cause,
   왜 주저하리요
   Or blush to speak His name?
   다른 군사 피 흘리며
   Must I be car-ried to the skies
   나가서 싸울 때
   On flow-er-y beds of ease
   나 혼자 편히 앉아서
   While oth-ers fought to win the prize,
   바라만 보리요
   And sailed through blood-y seas?
   다른 사람 어찌든지
   I'll be a sol-dier for Je-sus
   나 주님의 용사되리
   No mat-ter what oth-ers may do.
   나는 주의 군사되어
   I take my oath of al-le-giance
   충성을 맹세하여
   To serve Him with pur-pose true.
   내가 승리하기까지
   Great Cap-tain, that Thy full pur-pose
   주 은혜로 싸우리
   By grace in me may be done,
   주의 용사된 나에게
   I'll be a sol-dier for Je-sus
   주의일 맡기소서
   Un-til the war-fare is won.

2. 큰 싸움은 시작되어
   Are there no foes for me to face?
   용사를 부른다
   Must I not stem the flood?
   곧 나가 전쟁마당에
   Is this vain world a friend to grace,
   다 어서 나가자
   To help me on to God?
   거룩하신 주님 위해
   Sure I must fight, if I would reign
   싸우러 나가자
   In-crease my cour-age, Lord
   주님의 권능 힘입어
   I'll bear the toil, en-dure the pain,
   다 이길 때까지
   Sup-port-ed by Thy word.
   다른 사람 어찌든지
   I'll be a sol-dier for Je-sus
   나 주님의 용사되리
   No mat-ter what oth-ers may do.
   나는 주의 군사되어
   I take my oath of al-le-giance
   충성을 맹세하여
   To serve Him with pur-pose true.
   내가 승리하기까지
   Great Cap-tain, that Thy full pur-pose
   주 은혜로 싸우리

3. 그 승리의 영광 위해
   Thy saints, in all this glo-rious war,
   싸워야하리라
   Shall con-quer, though they die
   주 말씀 나의 힘 되니
   They see the tri-umph from a-far,
   겁낼 것 없도다
   By faith they bring it nigh.
   모든 싸움 이긴 후에
   When that il-lus-trious day shall rise
   그 날이 이르면
   And all Thine ar-mies shine
   승전가 높이 부르며
   In robes of vic-to-ry, through the skies,
   큰 영광 누리리
   The glo-ry shall be Thine.
   다른 사람 어찌든지
