주 없이 살 수 없네
I Could Not Do Without Thee


1. 주 없이는 살 수 없네
   I could not do with-out Thee,
   죄인의 구주여
   O Sav-iour of the lost,
   그 귀한 보배 피로
   Whose won-drous love re-deemed me,
   날 구속하시니
   At such tre-men-dous cost
   구주의 사랑으로
   Thy right-eous-ness, Thy par-don,
   흘리신 보혈이
   Thy pre-cious blood must be
   내 소망 나의 우리
   My on-ly hope and com-fort,
   내 영광 됩니다
   My glo-ry and my plea.

2. 주 없이는 살 수 없네
   I could not do with-out Thee,
   나 혼자 못 서리
   I can-not stand a-lone,
   힘없고 부족하며
   I have no strength or good-ness,
   지혜도 없으니
   No wis-dom of my own
   내 주는 나의 생명
   But Thou be-love-d Sav-iour,
   또 나의 힘이라
   Art all in all to me,
   주님을 의지하여
   And weak-ness will be pow-er
   지혜를 얻으리
   If lean-ing hard on Thee.

3. 주 없이 살 수 없네
   I could not do with-out Thee,
   내 주는 아신다
   No oth-er friend can read,
   내 영의 깊은 간구
   The spir-it's strange deep long-ings,
   마음의 소원을
   Inter-pret-ing its need
   주 밖에 나의 맘을
   No hu-man heart could en-ter,
   뉘 알아 주리요
   Each dim re-cess of mine,
   내 맘을 위로하사
   And soothe, an hush, and calm it,
   평온케 하시네
   O bless-ed Lord, but Thine.

4. 주 없이 살 수 없네
   I could not do with-out Thee,
   세월이 흐르고
   For years are fleet-ing fast,
   이 깊은 고독 속에
   And soon in sol-emn lone-ness
   내 생명 끝나도
   The ri-ver must be passed
   사나운 풍랑일 때
   But Thou wilt ne-ver leave me,
   날 지켜 주시고
   And though the waves roll high,
   내 곁에 계신 주님
   I know Thou wilt be near me,
   늘 힘이 되시네
   And whis-per, “It is I."
