1. 구주여 광풍이 일어
   Mas-ter, the tem-pest is rag-ing!
   큰 물결이 뛰놀며
   The bil-lows are toss-ing high!
   온 하늘이 어둠에 싸여
   The sky is o'er shad-owed with black-ness,
   피할 곳을 모르니
   No shel-ter or help is nigh
   우리가 죽게 된 것을
   Car-est Thou not that we per-ish?
   안 돌아봅니까
   How canst Thou lie a-sleep,
   깊은 바다에 빠지게 된 때
   When each mo-ment so mad-ly is threat-'ning
   주무시려 합니까
   A grave in the an-gry deep?
   큰 바람과 물결아
   The winds and the waves shall o-
   잔잔해 잔잔해
   bey My will, Peace, be still!
   사납게 뛰노는 파도나
   Wheth-er the wrath of the storm-tossed sea,
   저 흉악한 마귀나 아무것도
   Or de-mons, or men or what-ev-er it be,
   주 평안히 잠들어 누신 배
   No wa-ter can swal-low the ship where lies
   뒤 엎어 놀 능력이 없도다
   the Mas-ter of o-cean and earth and skies
   주 예수 풍파를 꾸짖어
   They all shall sweet-ly o-bey My will
   잔잔해 잔잔해
   Peace, be still! Peace, be still!
   주 예수 풍파를 꾸짖어
   They all shall sweet-ly o-bey My will
   잔잔하라
   Peace, peace, be still.

2. 구주여 떨리는 내 맘
   Mas-ter, with an-guish in spir-it
   저 풍랑과 같아서
   I bow in my grief to-day
   늘 불안에 싸여서 사니
   The depths of my sad heart are trou-bled,
   날 붙들어 주소서
   O wak-en and save, I pray
   세상의 풍파가 나를
   Tor-rents of sin and of an-guish
   삼키려 합니다
   Sweep o'er my sink-ing soul!
   지금 죽게 된 날 돌아보사
   And I per-ish! Dear Mas-ter,
   곧 구원해 줍소서
   O has-ten, and take con-trol.

3. 사나운 광풍이 자고
   Mas-ter, the ter-ror is o-ver,
   큰 물결이 그치니
   The el-e-ments sweet-ly rest
   그 잔잔한 바다와 같이
   Earth's sun in the calm lake is mir-rored,
   내 마음이 편하다
   And heav-en's with-in my breast.
   구주여 늘 함께 계셔
   Lin-ger, O bless-ed Re-deem-er,
   떠나지 맙소서
   Leave me a-lone no more
   복된 항구에 즐거이 가서
   And with joy I shall make the blest har-bor,
   그 언덕에 쉬리라
   And rest on the bliss-ful shore.
