내 갈 길 멀고 밤은 깊은데

1. 내 갈길 멀고 밤은 깊은데
   Lead, kind-ly Light, a-mid th' en-cir-cling gloom,
   빛 되신 주
   Lead Thou me on.
   저 본향 집을 향해 가는 길
   The night is dark, and I am far from home
   비추소서
   Lead Thou me on
   내 가는 길 다 알지 못하나
   Keep Thou my feet I do not ask to see
   한걸음씩 늘 인도하소서
   The dis-tant scene, one step e-nough for me.

2. 이전에 방탕하게 지낼 때
   I was not ev-er thus, nor prayed that Thou
   교만하여
   Shouldst lead me on
   맘대로 고집하던 이 죄인 사하소서
   I loved to choose and see my path, but now Lead Thou me on.
   내 지은 죄 다 기억 마시고
   I loved the gar-ish day, and, spite of fears,
   주 뜻대로 늘 주장하소서
   Pride ruled my will re-mem-ber not past years.

3. 이전에 나를 인도하신
   So long Thy power hath blest me sure it still
   주 장래에도
   Will lead me on
   내 앞에 험산준령 당할 때
   O'er moor and fen, o'er crag and tor-rent, till
   도우소서
   The night is gone.
   밤 지나고 저 밝은 아침에
   And with the morn those an-gel fa-ces smile
   기쁨으로 내주를 만나리 아-멘
   Which I have loved long since, and lost a-while. A-men.
