O God, Our Help in Ages Past


1. 예부터 도움 되시고
   O God, our help in a-ges past,
   내 소망되신 주
   Our hope for years to come,
   이 세상 풍파 중에도
   Our shel-ter from the storm-y blast,
   늘 보호하시네
   And our e-ter-nal home!

2. 이 천지만물 있기 전
   Be-fore the hills in or-der stood,
   주 먼저 계셨고
   Or earth re-ceived her frame,
   온 세상 만물 변해도
   From ev-ev-last-ing Thou art God,
   주 변함없도다
   To end-less years the same.

3. 주 앞에 억 천만년이
   A thou-sand a-ges in Thy sight
   한날과 같도다
   Are like an eve-ning gone
   이 세상 모든 일들이
   Short as the watch that ends the night,
   다 잠시뿐이라
   Be-fore the ris-ing sun.

4. 세월이 흘러가는데
   Time, like and ev-er-roll-ing stream,
   인생은 떠난다
   Bears all its sons a-way
   이 인생 백 년 살아도
   They fly, for-got-ten, as a dream
   꿈결과 같도다
   Dies at the op'n-ing day.

   O God, our help in a-ges past,
   내 소망되신 주
   Our hope for years to come,
   일평생 지나갈 동안
   Be Thou our guide while life shall last,
   늘 보호하소서 아-멘
   And our e-ter-nal home! A-men.
