In the Rifted Rock I'm Resting


1. 만세 반석 열린 곳에
   In the rift-ed Rock I'm rest-ing,
   내가 숨어있으니
   Safe-ly shel-tered, I a-bide
   원수 마귀 손 못 대고
   There no foes nor storms mo-lest me,
   환난풍파 없도다
   While with-in the cleft I hide.
   만세 반석 열린 곳에
   Now I'm rst-ing, sweet-ly rest-ing,
   내가 편히 쉬리니
   In the cleft once made for me:
   나의 반석 구주 예수
   Je-sus, bless-ed Rock of A-ges,
   나를 숨겨주소서
   I will hide my-self in Thee.

2. 죄에 매여 죽을 인생
   Long pur-sued by sin and Sa-tan,
   편히 쉬기 바라니
   Wea-ry, sad, I longed for rest
   주의 가슴 넓은 품에
   Then I found this heav'n-ly shel-ter
   내가 찾아 안기네
   Open-ed in my Sav-ior's breast.
   만세 반석 열린 곳에
   Now I'm rst-ing, sweet-ly rest-ing,
   내가 편히 쉬리니
   In the cleft once made for me:
   나의 반석 구주 예수
   Je-sus, bless-ed Rock of A-ges,
   나를 숨겨주소서
   I will hide my-self in Thee.

3. 이 땅 위에 평안 없고
   Peace, which passeth un-der-stand-ing,
   기쁜 일을 몰라도
   Joy, the world can nev-er give.
   주 예수의 참사랑을
   Now in Je-sus I am find-ing
   내가 이제 알았네
   In His smiles of love I live.
   만세 반석 열린 곳에
   Now I'm rst-ing, sweet-ly rest-ing,
   내가 편히 쉬리니
   In the cleft once made for me:
   나의 반석 구주 예수
   Je-sus, bless-ed Rock of A-ges,
   나를 숨겨주소서

4. 험한 풍파 지나도록
   In the rift-ed Rock I'll hide me
   순풍으로 도우사
   Till the storms of life are past
   평화로운 피난처에
   All se-cure in this blest ref-uge,
   길이 살게 하소서
   Heed-ing not the fierc-est blast.
