   I have wan-der'd far in-deed!
   처량하고 곤하며
   Now I'm wea-ry, weak, and lame,
   슬프고 또 외로와
   Lost in sad-ness, tears, and need,
   정처 없이 다니니
   Drift-ing list-less, with-out aim!

   섭섭하여 울 때에
   When I'm sad and deep in grief,
   눈물 씻어 주시고
   Dry my tears, till tears shall end
   나를 위로 하소서
   Be my com-fort and re-lief.

   When my wan-d'rings pause to rest,
   쓸쓸한 곳 만나도
   Though my camp be bleak and cold,
   홀로 있게 마시고
   Leave me not a-lone, un-blest
