My Soul in Sad Exile


1. 이 세상에 근심된 일이 많고
   My soul in sad ex-ile wax out on life's sea,
   참 평안을 몰랐구나
   So burden-ed with sin and dis-tressed,
   내 주 예수 날 오라 부르시니
   Till I heard a sweet voice saying, "Make me your choice",
   곧 평안히 쉬리로다
   And I entered the "Ha-ven of Rest."
   주 예수의 구원의 은혜로다
   I've anchor-ed my soul in the "Ha-ven of Rest,"
   참 기쁘고 즐겁구나
   I'll sail the wide seas- no more
   그 은혜를 영원히 누리겠네
   The tempest may sweep o'er the wild strom-y deep
   곧 평안히 쉬리로다
   In Je-sus I'm safe ev-er-more.

2. 이 세상에 곤고한 일이 많고
   I yield-ed my-self to His ten-der em-brace,
   참 쉬는 날 없었구나
   And faith tak-ing Hold of the Word,
   내 주 예수 날 사랑 하시오니
   My fet-ters fell off, and I anchor-ed my soul
   곧 평안히 쉬리로다
   The "Ha-ven of Rest" is my Lord.
   주 예수의 구원의 은혜로다
   I've anchor-ed my soul in the "Ha-ven of Rest,"
   참 기쁘고 즐겁구나
   I'll sail the wide seas- no more
   그 은혜를 영원히 누리겠네
   The tempest may sweep o'er the wild strom-y deep
   곧 평안히 쉬리로다
   In Je-sus I'm safe ev-er-more.

3. 이 세상에 죄악 된 일이 많고
   The song of my soul, since the Lord made me whole,
   참 죽을 일 쌓였구나
   Has been the old sto-ry so blest,
   내 주 예수 날 건져 주시오니
   Of Je-sus who'll save who-so-ev-er will have
   곧 평안히 쉬리로다
   A home in the "Ha-ven of Rest."
