이 세상은 요란하나
O Blessed Life the Heart at Rest


1. 이 세상은 요란하나
   O bless-ed life! the heart at rest,
   내 마음은 늘 편하다
   When all with-out tu-mul-tuous seems,
   구주의 뜻 준행하니
   That trusts a high-er will, and deems
   참 기쁜 복 내 것일세
   That high-er will, not mine, the best.

2. 이 세상은 늘 변하고
   O bless-ed life! the mind that sees
   험악한 일 참 많으나
   What-ev-er change the years may bring
   주 은혜만 생각하니
   A mer-cy still in ev-'ry-thing,
   참 기쁜 복 내 것일세
   And shin-ing through all mys-ter-ies.

3. 육신의 눈 못 볼 때에
   O bless-ed life! the soul that soars,
   신령한 눈 곧 밝히사
   When sense of mor-tal sight is dim,
   저 천성문 보게 하니
   Be-yond the sense be-yond to Him,
   참 기쁜 복 내 것일세
   Whose love un-locks the heaven-ly doors.

4. 내 마음과 내 영혼이
   O bless-ed life! heart, mind, and soul,
   모든 욕심 다 버리고
   From self born aims and wishes free
   주 은혜로 성결하니
   In all at one with Dei-ty.
   참 기쁜 복 내 것일세
   And loy-al to the Lord's con-trol.

5. 이 육신의 복락보다
   O life! how bless-ed, how di-vine!
   신령한 복 더 좋으니
   High life, the earn-est of a high-er!
   내 맘과 뜻 다 합하여
   Sav-ior, ful-fil my deep de-sire.
   저 천성만 향해가네
   And let this bless-ed life be mine.
