Fierce Raged the Tempest O'er the Deep


1. 바다에 놀이 치는 때
   Fierce raged the temp-est o'er the deep,
   제자들 당황하여도
   Watch did Thine anx-ious ser-vants keep,
   주 예수 곤히 잠들어
   But Thou wast wrapped in guile-less sleep,
   누셨네
   calm and still.

2. 우리를 살려 주소서
   "Save, Lord, we per-ish", was their cry,
   제자들 소리 지르니
   "O save us in our a-go-ny!"
   주 예수 풍랑 꾸짖어
   Thy word a-bove the storm rose high,
   고요해
   "Peace, be still."

3. 사나운 바다 물결도
   The wild winds hush-ed the angry deep
   어린애 잠이 듬 같이
   Sank, like a lit-tle child, to sleep
   주 예수 명령 따라서
   The sul-len bil-lows ceased to leap,
   잔잔해
   At Thy will.

4. 일평생 사는 동안에
   So, when our life is cloud o-ver,
   괴로운 시련 많으나
   And storm-winds drift us from the shore,
   주 예수 함께 계시니
   Say lest we sink to rise no more,
   평안해
   "Peace, be still."
