1. 어두운 내 눈 밝히사
   O-pen my eyes, that I may see
   진리를 보게 하소서
   Glimp-ses of truth Thou hast for me
   진리의 열쇠 내게 주사
   Place in my hands the won-der-ful key
   참 빛을 찾게 하소서
   That shall un-clasp, and set me free.
   깊으신 뜻을 알고자
   Si-lent-ly now I wait for Thee,
   엎드려 기다리오니
   Read-y, my God, Thy will to see.
   내 눈을 뜨게 하소서
   O-pen my eyes, il-lu-mine me,
   성령이여
   Spir-it di-vine!

2. 막혀진 내 귀 여시사
   O-pen my ears, that I may hear
   주님의 귀한 음성을
   Voic-es of truth Thou send-est clear
   이 귀로 밝히 들을 때에
   And while the wave-notes fall on my ear,
   내 기쁨 한량 없겠네
   Ev-'ry-thing false will dis-ap-pear.
   깊으신 뜻을 알고자

   복음을 널리 전하고
   Glad-ly the warm truth ev-'ry where
   차가운 내 맘 녹여주사

   사랑을 하게 하소서
   Love with Thy chil-dren thus to share.
