내 주 되신 주를 참 사랑하고

1. 내 주 되신 주를 참 사랑하고
   My Je-sus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine
   곧 그에게 죄를 다 고하리라
   For Thee all the fol-lies of sin I re-sign.
   큰 은혜를 주신 내 예수시니
   My gra-cious Re-deem-er, my Sav-iour art Thou
   이전보다 더욱 사랑합니다
   If ev-er I loved Thee, my Je-sus, 'tis now.

2. 주 날 사랑하사 구하시려고
   I love Thee be-cause Thou hast first lov-ed me,
   저 십자가 고난 당하셨도다
   And pur-chased my par-don on Cal-va-ry's tree.
   그 가시관 쓰신 내주 뵈오니
   I love Thee for wear-ing the thorns on Thy brow
   이전 보다 더욱 사랑합니다
   If ev-er I loved Thee, my Je-sus, 'tis now.

3. 내 평생에 힘쓸 그 큰 의무는
   I'll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death
   주 예수의 덕을 늘 기리다가
   And praise Thee as long as Thou lend-est me breath
   숨질 때에라도 내 할 말씀이
   And say, when the death-dew lies cold on my brow
