Jerusalem the Golden


1. 예루살렘 금성아
   Je-ru-sa-lem the gold-en,
   복 가득하도다
   With milk and hon-ey blest,
   네 너를 생각할 때
   Be-neath thy con-tem-pla-tion
   마음이 기쁘다
   Sink heart and voice op-pressed.
   비할 데 없는 복과
   I know not, O I know not,
   그 빛난 광채와
   What joys a-wait us there
   나 받을 모든 기쁨
   What ra-dian-cy of glo-ry,
   다 측량 못하리
   What bliss be-yond com-pare.

2. 시온산 성전 안에
   They stand, those halls of Zi-on,
   천사와 성도들
   All ju-bi-lant with song,
   주 찬송하는 소리
   And bright with man-y an-gel,
   그치지 않도다
   And all the mar-tyr throng.
   주께서 계심으로
   The Prince is ev-er in them,
   그 빛이 찬란해
   The day-light is se-rene
   저 방초동산들은
   The pas-tures of the bless-ed
   참 아름다워라
   Are decked in glo-rious sheen.

3. 주 예수 보좌 앞에
   There is the throne of Da-vid
   내 짐을 내리고
   And there, from care re-leased,
   즐거운 잔치할 때
   The song of them that tri-umph,
   개가를 부르리
   The shout of them that feast:
   주 명령 따라 나가
   And they who with their Lead-er
   승전한 성도들
   Have con-quered in the fight,
   영원한 그 곳에서
   For-ev-er and for-ev-er
   흰 예복 입겠네
   Are clad in robes of white.

4. 귀하고 복된 본향
   O sweet and bless-ed coun-try,
   주 예비 하셨네
   The home of God's e-lect!
   그곳을 사모하며
   O sweet and bless-ed coun-try
   나 항상 바라네
   That ea-ger hearts ex-pect!
   예수여 비옵나니
   Je-sus, in mer-cy bring us
   큰 은혜 베푸사
   To that dear land of rest
   영원한 나의 본향
   Who art, with God the Fa-ther,
   이르게 합소서 아-멘
   And Spir-it, ev-er blest. A-men.
