I'm press-ing on the up-ward way,

New heights I'm gain-ing ev-'ry day
내 뜻과 정성 모두어
Still pray-ing as I'm on-ward bound,

그곳에 서게 하소서
By faith on Heav-en's ta-ble-land,
그 곳은 빛과 사랑이
A high-er plane than I have found
언제나 넘치옵니다

2. 괴롬과 죄가 있는 곳
My heat has no de-sire to stay
나 비록 여기 살아도
Where doubts a-rise and fears dis-may
빛나고 높은 저 곳을
Tho' some may dwell where these a-bound,
날마다 바라봅니다
My prayer, my aim, is high-er ground.

그곳에 서게 하소서

3. 의심의 안개 걷히고
I want to live a-bove the world,
근심의 구름 없는 곳
Tho' Sa-tan's darts at me are hurled
기쁘고 참된 평화가
For faith has caught the joy-ful sound,
거기만 있사옵니다
The song of saints on high-er ground.

I want to scale the ut-most height,
싸우며 나아갑니다
And catch a gleam of glo-ry bright
