1.Take my heart, O Fa-ther! take it;
Make and keep it all Thine own;
Let Thy Spir-it melt and break it
This proud heart of sin and stone.
2.Fa-ther, make me pure and low-ly,
Fond of peace and free from strife;
Turn-ing from the paths un-ho-ly
Of this vain and sin-ful life.

Strength-en me with pow'r di-vine;
