1.O Thou, the Lamb of God,
Spot-less and most ho-ly,
Is slain, th'un-blem-ish'd Lamb, to bear
Our sins at Cal-va-ry.
2.This is the brok-en bread,
The bo-dy marr'd for me,
The ve-ry bo-dy of the Lord,
Nail-brok-en on the tree.
3.This is the blood out-pour'd
In judg-ment, in my stead;
For you, for me, at Cal-va-ry
In love and mer-cy shed.
4.Here is the tab-le spread
Which Je-sus doth pre-pare,
Who gives us now this bread of life,
This cup which now we share.
5.The Lord for Whom we yearn,
As-cend-ed for a space,
Comes soon, and we at His re-turn
