목회기도 Pastoral Prayer
사랑하는 아버지 하나님. 복된 날 주셔서 감사드립니다. 주님의 전에 나아올 수 있도록 축복해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 생명 주셔서 감사드립니다. 소리 높여 주님을 찬양할 수 있는 은혜를 주셔서 감사드립니다. 저희들의 모든 죄를 용서해 주시옵고, 주님의 은혜를 날마다 누리는 기쁨을 허락하옵소서. 저희들이 드리는 예배가 천국에 상달되게 하옵소서. 이 세상에 살면서 예배드리는 모든 것이 천국 가는 준비인줄 알게 하옵소서. 천국에서 영원토록 주님을 찬양하며 예배드리는 소망을 품게 하옵소서. 임마누엘의 주님께서 함께 하시는 복된 시간 삼아 주시옵소서. 주 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘. Loving Father God, we thank you for this blessed day. We thank you for letting us come to you to worship you. We thank you for the life and for the grace in praising the Lord with shouting voice. Forgive our sins and give us the joy of daily grace. Make this worship go to the heaven and let us know our earthly worships are the preparation of the heavenly worship. Let us have the hope to worship you in the heaven eternally. Make this worship the blessed hour with the Emmanuel God. In Jesus' name, Amen.
더 많이 사랑하는 자 The Woman with Much Love
누가복음 Luke 7:36-50
어떤 바리새인이 예수님을 식사에 초대했습니다. 평소에 예수님을 반대하던 바리새인이 주님을 청하다니, 의외지요? 자리에 앉으셨을 때입니다. A certain Pharisee, named Simon, invited Jesus to a dinner table.
유대인들은 식탁에 앉을 때는 다리를 옆으로 뻗고 반쯤 걸터 누운 상태입니다. 그런데, 그 동네 사는 어떤 여자가 예수님께 다가왔습니다. 옥합을 손에 들고 왔는데, 거기는 향유가 가득 담겨 있었습니다. Jews when sitting at a dinner table, they lean down side. A woman of the village approached to Jesus. She had perfume in an alabaster jar.
예수님의 뒷편으로 다가갔습니다. 서서 눈물을 흘렸습니다. 눈물로 예수님의 발을 적셨습니다. 자기의 머릿털로 예수님의 발을 씻었습니다. 그리고 예수님의 발에 입을 맞추었습니다. She stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair. And kissed on his feet.
이어서 예수님의 발에 향유를 부었습니다. And she poured the perfume on the feet of Jesus.
이 때 예수님을 청했던 바리새인이 속으로 생각했습니다: “이 사람이 만약 선지자였다면, 자기를 만지는 이 여자가 누구며, 얼마나 큰 죄인인가를 알았을 것이다!” And Simon, the Pharisee who invited Jesus said in his mind, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is -- that she is a sinner."
이 때 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다: “시몬아. 내가 네게 이를 말이 있다. 빚 주는 사람이 있었는데, 두 사람이 돈을 빌렸다. 하나는 500 데나리온을, 다른 하나는 50 데나리온을 빚졌다. 두 사람이 모두 갚을 길이 없어, 불쌍했는데, 주인이 두 사람을 다 탕감해 주었다. 둘 중에 누가 주인을 더 사랑하겠느냐?” And Jesus said, "Simon, I have something to tell you. Two men owed money to a certain mondylender. One owed him five hundred denari, and the other fifty. Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he canceled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?"
시몬의 대답은 이랬습니다: "제 생각에 많이 탕감 받은 사람일 것 같습니다.“ 예수님께서 대답하셨습니다: “그렇다.” 그리고 여자를 보신 후, “이 여자를 보느냐? 이 여자는 큰 죄인이다. 그러나, 그 많은 죄가 사함을 받았다. 많이 사랑했기 때문이다. 사함을 받은 일이 적은 사람은 적게 사랑한다.” Simon answered: "I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled." Jesus replied: "Yes." And after seeing her, Jesus added, "Do you see her? She is a greater sinner. But her much sins were forgiven, because she loved much. He who has been forgiven little loves little."
여기, 그 여자가 ‘큰 죄인’이라는 사실과, 그 여자의 죄를 지적하는 바리새인 시몬은 ‘작은 죄인’이라는 것을 비교하셨습니다. Jesus admitted that she was a great sinner, and Simon, the Pharisee who pointed her sinfulness, is a little sinner.
그러니까, 큰 죄인으로서 큰 죄를 사함 받은 그 여자가 예수님을 크게 사랑하는 것은 너무 당연하다는 말씀입니다. 또, 적은 죄를 사함 받은 바리새인 시몬이 예수님을 적게 사랑한 것도 당연하게 여기신다는 말씀이셨습니다. Accordingly, as Jesus understood, the great sinner woman loved Jesus much; and the little sinner Pharisee Simon loved Jesus little.
그러면, 이 여자는 얼마나 크게 주님을 사랑했고, 바리새인은 얼마나 적게 사랑했을까요? How much she loved Jesus and how little the Pharisee loved Jesus?
예수님께서는 바리새인 시몬과 죄인 여자를 다음의 세 가지로 비교하셨습니다. Jesus compared Simon, the Pharisee, with the sinner woman in the following three ways:
1. 예수님께서 시몬의 집에 들어가셨을 때, 발 씻을 물도 주지 않았습니다.
보통, 집안의 하인들을 시켜 발을 씻어 주는 것이 예의였습니다. 그런데, 하인을 시켜 그런 대접을 하기는커녕, 스스로 씻을 수 있도록 배려하지도 않았습니다. 그러나 그 여자는 눈물로 예수님의 발을 적시고, 그 머릿털로 씻었습니다. When Jesus entered Simon's house, he did not give Jesus water to wash the feet. Generally, servants of the house washed the feet of the guest. But Simon did not let his servants do that, not prepared water so that Jesus could wash the feet for himself. But the woman washed the feet of Jesus with tears and dried them with her hair.
2. 바리새인 시몬은 예수님을 초청해 놓고 오셨을 때 입맞추지도 않았습니다.
기본 예의도 차리지 않은 것입니다. 환영하지 않은 것입니다. 그러나 그 여자는 예수님께서 들어오실 때부터 주님의 발에 입맞추기를 그치지 않았습니다. Simon did not kiss Jesus as he entered his house. Simon did not welcome Jesus. But the woman did not stop kissing on the feet as Jesus entered the house.
3. 시몬은 예수님의 머리에 흔한 감람유도 붓지 않았지만, 그 여자는 향유를 부었습니다. Simon, the Pharisee, did not pour even Olive oil, but the woman poured the perfume.
이제 주님께서 선언하십니다. “저의 많은 죄가 사하여졌다. 왜냐하면 그가 많이 사랑했기 때문이다.” Jesus declares: "I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven, for she loved much."
그리고 경구를 말씀하십니다: “사함을 받은 일이 적은 자는 적게 사랑하느니라.” 이 경구는 바리새인 시몬에게 해당되는 말씀입니다. “시몬, 너는 죄 사함이 적기 때문에 적게 사랑했다. 바로 그 사실을 이해하기 때문에 시몬, 네가 나를 제대로 사랑하지 않는 것을 나는 이해한다!” 그런 말씀입니다. 일종의 풍자입니다. And said a saying: "He who has been forgiven little loves little." This saying applies to the Pharisee, Simon. So to speak, it is: "Simon, you loved me little because you were forgiven little. I understand you because I understand you were little forgiven." This is a sort of satire.
"죄가 많은 사람이었는데, 그 죄를 다 사함 받은 사람은 많이 사랑한다." 이것은 하나의 ‘원리’라기 보다는 ‘현상 이해’입니다. 모든 죄 많은 사람이 용서받았다고 다 많이 사랑하지는 않습니다. 사람 나름입니다. "A person forgiven much loves much." This is not a principle but an understanding of a phenomenon. Not all the people forgiven much love much. It depends on individual.
본래 바리새인이나 죄인 여자나 예수님의 눈에는 거기서 거기였습니다. 오히려 죄가 없다고 주장하는 바리새인이 더 많은 죄가 있었습니다. In the eyes of Jesus, the Pharisee and the woman were the same. The Pharisee, who insisted less sinning, was greater sinner.
그러니까, 스스로 죄가 없다고 주장하는 바리새인에게 “그렇다면 네가 죄를 덜 사함 받았다고 하자”고 가정하셨습니다. 그리고, 그가 예수님을 청해놓고 오히려 홀대하는 것을 지적해 주신 것입니다. “죄 사함이 적어서 나를 홀대했다는 것을 내가 이해한다!” Jesus presumed the Pharisee was forgiven less and indicated his mistreatment with his visitation. Jesus must have implied, "I understand you mistreated me because you were forgiven less!"
스스로 큰 죄인이라는 사실을 알지 못하고, ‘나는 죄인이 아니다’ 라거나, ‘죄가 있어도 조금밖에 없다’ 라는 생각을 품는 사람은, 예수님에 대하여 소홀할 수밖에 없습니다. Without recognizing themselves as great sinners cannot treat Jesus with their best.
우리 스스로를 돌아봅시다. 우리는 어떤 종류의 죄인입니까? 자기가 큰 죄인임을 잊고 있습니까? Think of ourselves. What kind of sinners are we? Do we remember that we are great sinners?
예수님의 사랑이 놀랍습니다. 그 크신 사랑을 깊이 느끼십니까? 어쩌면 당연하다고 생각하십니까? The love of Jesus is amazing. Do you feel the love deeply? Do you think the love for granted?
이 여자처럼, 예수님의 바로 앞에 서지도 못하고 뒷 켠에 서서, 감히 얼굴은 어쩌지 못하고 발에 대고 눈물로 씻으며 입맞춤하는 그런 사람, 그런 사람이 큰 사랑을 입습니다. 주님께서 원하시는 사람이 바로 그런 사람입니다. Like this woman, standing not in front but back of Jesus, washing the feet with tears with kisses, we get the great love. Jesus wants us serving Jesus and his people.
교회를 섬기는 것은 교회의 머리되신 예수님을 섬기는 것입니다. 교회 와서 쓸고 닦으며 말없이 봉사하는 것은 누구 보라고 하는 것이 아닙니다. 하늘에 계신 우리 구주 예수님을 섬기는 것입니다. Serving church is serving Jesus, the head of the church. Serving fellow Christians at church is serving Jesus who is in church and the heaven.
예수님의 사랑이 너무 커서, 생각만 해도 눈물이 솟구치는 것을 어쩔 수 없습니다. 숨어 봉사라도 해야 마음이 편한, 그런 사람으로 살아가야 합니다. Thinking of the love of Jesus, we cannot but drop tears. We are the Christians serving Jesus and get peace from him.
이 여자는 우리 자신의 모습입니다. 주님의 사랑을 많이 입은 사람입니다. The woman can be identified with ourselves. Both she and we are the ones with much love of Jesus.
터널을 걸어 보신 적이 있습니까? 아무리 걸어도 끝이 보이지 않다가, 드디어 저기 먼 곳에 점 하나 보이는 것을 경험해 보셨습니까? 터널을 빠져 나올 때의 상쾌함! Have you ever walked through a tunnel? Have you ever experienced looking at the gate after a long walk? What a wonderful joy after the tunnel!
우리 주님 예수 그리스도를 만난 기쁨입니다. It is the joy of meeing Jesus Christ.
죄가 많으면 많을수록 인생의 터널이 길고 어둡습니다. 그런데, 그 길고 어두운 터널인 만큼, 거기서 빠져 나온 기쁨은 상상할 수가 없습니다. With much sins, the tunnel of life is long and dark. The joy of coming out of the tunnel is so great that we cannot express with words.
우리의 죄를 사해주신 예수님. 그분께 우리는 무엇을 드려야 할까요? Jesus saved us from the death. What can we give him back?
1. 값진 향유를 드려야 합니다. We must return him perfume to him.
그 여자에게서 향유는 가진 모든 것이었습니다. 오늘 우리가 가진 모든 것, 재능과 젊음, 그 모든 것을 주님께 바쳐야겠습니다. The perfume was everything for the woman. Today, we are to return what we have: talents, youth, and time.
2. 주님의 발 앞에 엎드려 입맞춤을 드려야 합니다. We must bow down to Jesus and kiss his feet.
우리 식으로 하자면, 진지한 ‘인사’를 드려야 합니다. “주님, 감사합니다!” 그렇게 감사와 찬양을 드려야 합니다. Applied to our custom, we must greet him sincerely. "O Jesus, we thank you!" We must praise the Lord with thanksgiving and joy.
바리새인의 경우, 하나님이신 예수님께서 자기의 집을 방문하셨다면, 황송해서 엎드려 절해야 할텐데 적당히 대우했습니다. 인사가 없었습니다. 무시한 것입니다. As for the Pharisee, with Jesus' visitation at his home, he had to bow down and greet him. But he did not. He ignored.
오늘 우리는 우리를 찾아오신 예수님을 어떻게 대접하고 있습니다. 예배시간, 우리는 주님 앞에 있습니다. 신령과 진정의 예배를 바르게 드리고 있습니까? Today, how do we treat the Lord Jesus who visited us? In worship, do we glorify him with the Spirit and and the Truth?
3. 그에 앞서 눈물로 주님의 발을 적셔드려야 합니다. First of all, we must wash the feet of Jesus with our tears of repentance.
3-1. 회개의 눈물입니다. The tears of repentance
죄인이었던 여자가, 죄 사함 받기 위해서는 회개해야 했습니다. 회개의 눈물을 주님 앞에 흘려야 합니다. The sinner woman repented to be forgiven. We need to repent our sins to Jesus.
“이러므로 첫 언약도 피 없이 세운 것이 아니니, 모세가 율법대로 모든 계명을 온 백성에게 말한 후에 송아지와 염소의 피와 및 물과 붉은 양털과 우슬초를 취하여 그 책과 온 백성에게 뿌려 이르되 ‘이는 하나님이 너희에게 명하신 언약의 피라’ 하고, 또한 이와 같이 피로써 장막과 섬기는 일에 쓰는 모든 그릇에 뿌렸느니라. 율법을 좇아 거의 모든 물건이 피로써 정결케 되나니, 피 흘림이 없은즉 사함이 없느니라.” This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood. When Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people. He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep." In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of the blood there is no forgiveness. 히브리서 Hebrews 9:18-22
예수님께서 우리 죄를 사하시기 위해 주님의 피를 흘렸습니다. 주님께서 죽으심으로써 우리가 산 것입니다. 이에 대한 우리의 반응은 당연히 ‘눈물’이어야 합니다. Jesus gave us his precious blood to save our sins. As he died, we lived. The response to the face is very naturally tears.
3-2. 감동의 눈물입니다. The tears with touchingness
주님 앞에 나아가는 사람은 누구나 떨림과 감격이 있어야 합니다. 그것이 없이, 그저 교회 밖이나 안이 똑같다면, 크게 잘못된 것입니다. Anyone who comes to God, he has to be with trembling and touchingness. Without them, something is wrong.
십자가만 바라보아도 감동이 일어야 합니다. 기도하고 바라면서 주님 앞에 나아와야 합니다. 하나님께서 우리에게 바라시는 신령과 진정의 예배를 드릴 수 있어야 합니다. The Cross gives us touchingness. We are to come to Jesus with prayer. We are to worship God with the Truth and the Spirit.
감동은 ‘준비’ 없이는 올 수 없습니다. 기다리고 사모하는 마음이 있어야 합니다. 한 주일 내내, 주일예배를 위해 준비해야 합니다. Touchingness cannot come without preparation. We must wiat for Jesus. During the week, we must long for the Sunday worship.
결론
예수님의 얼굴을 똑바로 바라보지 못한 죄 많은 여자처럼, 우리는 주님 앞에 서면 부끄러움을 견딜 수 없습니다. 그러나, 우리 주님께서 그 모든 죄를 사해주시고, 이제 주님의 자녀로 삼아 주셨습니다. Like the woman who could not see the face of Jesus directly, standing in front of Jesus, we are ashamed of ourselves. But Jesus forgave our sins, and adopted us as his children.
주님께서 이 여자에게 말씀하셨습니다: “네 죄 사함을 얻었느니라.” 이어서 주님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니, 평안히 가라!” Jesus said to her: "Your sins are forgiven." And Jesus continued, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."
우리가 누리고 있는 평안은 주님께서 주시는 것입니다. ‘죄 사함’과 ‘구원’ 없는 평안은 거짓 평안입니다. 평안처럼 보이지만, 실제는 속이 썩은 것입니다. The peace we now have came from Jesus. The peace without forgiveness and salvation is a false one.
죄가 사해져야 합니다. 같은 죄가 반복되어서는 안됩니다. 죄의 사슬에서 벗어나야 ‘구원’입니다. 길고 긴 터널을 빠져 나온 은혜와 기쁨이 있어야 ‘참된 평안’입니다. Sins are to be forgiven. Same sins are not to b repeated. We can get salvation after coming out of the yoke of sins. Having come out of the long and dark tunnel of sins we now enjoy the true peace with grace and joy.
일평생 죄에 시달렸던 이 여자가 예수님을 만났습니다. 이 만난 기회를 그냥 버리지 않았습니다. 자기 집을 방문해 주신 예수님을 소홀히 대접한 바리새인 시몬과 달리, 이 여자는 사람들의 냉대에도 불구하고 ‘최선의 것’을 드렸습니다. 곧 자기 자신을 드린 것입니다. The woman who had been suffering from sins met Jesus. She did not ignore the precious chance. Unlike Simon who did not treat Jesus, she gave Jesus all she had. She devoted herself to Jesus.
이로써 이 여자는 죄 사함을 받았고, 구원을 받았으며, 평안을 선물로 받았습니다. By this, the woman was forgiven, saved and got the peace as a gift.
오늘 이 여자의 삶이 바로 여러분 자신의 삶이 되시기를 축복합니다. 이 여자를 기쁘게 만나 주시고, 눈물을 흘리며 그 발을 닦는 것을 허락하신 주님, 아울러 그 여자가 붓는 향유를 기쁨으로 받으신 주님, 그 사랑의 이름으로 여러분을 축복합니다. May God bless you so that the woman's life be your own lives. Jesus welcomed the woman, permitted her to wash his feet with her tears and let her pour the perfume. I bless you all in Jesus' name.
여러분의 모든 죄가, 오늘 이 시간에 사함 받은 것을 나는 믿습니다. 다시는 같은 죄를 짓지 말고, 우리 구주 예수님 안에서 진정한 자유를 누리시기를 바랍니다. 아멘. I believe that all your sins are forgiven today this hour. Commit not the same sins and get the true freedom in Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

은혜로우신 아버지 하나님. 예수님을 만나 정성을 다했던 이 여자처럼, 저희들이 주님 만나 최선의 삶을 드리게 하옵소서. 그리하여 주님께서 주시는 죄 사함과 구원, 참된 평안을 영원히 누리게 하옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘. Gracious Father God. Like the woman who met Jesus and gave what she had to Jesus, let us devote our lives to Jeus Christ, so that we might get the forgiveness, salvation, and the true peace forever and ever. 그러니까, 큰 죄인으로서 큰 죄를 사함 받은 그 여자가 예수님을 크게 사랑하는 것은 너무 당연하다는 말씀입니다. 또, 적은 죄를 사함 받은 바리새인 시몬이 예수님을 적게 사랑한 것도 당연하게 여기신다는 말씀이셨습니다. Accordingly, as Jesus understood, the great sinner woman loved Jesus much; and the little sinner Pharisee Simon loved Jesus little.
그러면, 이 여자는 얼마나 크게 주님을 사랑했고, 바리새인은 얼마나 적게 사랑했을까요? How much she loved Jesus and how little the Pharisee loved Jesus?
예수님께서는 바리새인 시몬과 죄인 여자를 다음의 세 가지로 비교하셨습니다. Jesus compared Simon, the Pharisee, with the sinner woman in the following three ways:
1. 예수님께서 시몬의 집에 들어가셨을 때, 발 씻을 물도 주지 않았습니다.
보통, 집안의 하인들을 시켜 발을 씻어 주는 것이 예의였습니다. 그런데, 하인을 시켜 그런 대접을 하기는커녕, 스스로 씻을 수 있도록 배려하지도 않았습니다. 그러나 그 여자는 눈물로 예수님의 발을 적시고, 그 머릿털로 씻었습니다. When Jesus entered Simon's house, he did not give Jesus water to wash the feet. Generally, servants of the house washed the feet of the guest. But Simon did not let his servants do that, not prepared water so that Jesus could wash the feet for himself. But the woman washed the feet of Jesus with tears and dried them with her hair.
2. 바리새인 시몬은 예수님을 초청해 놓고 오셨을 때 입맞추지도 않았습니다.
기본 예의도 차리지 않은 것입니다. 환영하지 않은 것입니다. 그러나 그 여자는 예수님께서 들어오실 때부터 주님의 발에 입맞추기를 그치지 않았습니다. Simon did not kiss Jesus as he entered his house. Simon did not welcome Jesus. But the woman did not stop kissing on the feet as Jesus entered the house.
3. 시몬은 예수님의 머리에 흔한 감람유도 붓지 않았지만, 그 여자는 향유를 부었습니다. Simon, the Pharisee, did not pour even Olive oil, but the woman poured the perfume.
이제 주님께서 선언하십니다. “저의 많은 죄가 사하여졌다. 왜냐하면 그가 많이 사랑했기 때문이다.” Jesus declares: "I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven, for she loved much."
그리고 경구를 말씀하십니다: “사함을 받은 일이 적은 자는 적게 사랑하느니라.” 이 경구는 바리새인 시몬에게 해당되는 말씀입니다. “시몬, 너는 죄 사함이 적기 때문에 적게 사랑했다. 바로 그 사실을 이해하기 때문에 시몬, 네가 나를 제대로 사랑하지 않는 것을 나는 이해한다!” 그런 말씀입니다. 일종의 풍자입니다. And said a saying: "He who has been forgiven little loves little." This saying applies to the Pharisee, Simon. So to speak, it is: "Simon, you loved me little because you were forgiven little. I understand you because I understand you were little forgiven." This is a sort of satire.
"죄가 많은 사람이었는데, 그 죄를 다 사함 받은 사람은 많이 사랑한다." 이것은 하나의 ‘원리’라기 보다는 ‘현상 이해’입니다. 모든 죄 많은 사람이 용서받았다고 다 많이 사랑하지는 않습니다. 사람 나름입니다. "A person forgiven much loves much." This is not a principle but an understanding of a phenomenon. Not all the people forgiven much love much. It depends on individual.
본래 바리새인이나 죄인 여자나 예수님의 눈에는 거기서 거기였습니다. 오히려 죄가 없다고 주장하는 바리새인이 더 많은 죄가 있었습니다. In the eyes of Jesus, the Pharisee and the woman were the same. The Pharisee, who insisted less sinning, was greater sinner.
그러니까, 스스로 죄가 없다고 주장하는 바리새인에게 “그렇다면 네가 죄를 덜 사함 받았다고 하자”고 가정하셨습니다. 그리고, 그가 예수님을 청해놓고 오히려 홀대하는 것을 지적해 주신 것입니다. “죄 사함이 적어서 나를 홀대했다는 것을 내가 이해한다!” Jesus presumed the Pharisee was forgiven less and indicated his mistreatment with his visitation. Jesus must have implied, "I understand you mistreated me because you were forgiven less!"
스스로 큰 죄인이라는 사실을 알지 못하고, ‘나는 죄인이 아니다’ 라거나, ‘죄가 있어도 조금밖에 없다’ 라는 생각을 품는 사람은, 예수님에 대하여 소홀할 수밖에 없습니다. Without recognizing themselves as great sinners cannot treat Jesus with their best.
우리 스스로를 돌아봅시다. 우리는 어떤 종류의 죄인입니까? 자기가 큰 죄인임을 잊고 있습니까? Think of ourselves. What kind of sinners are we? Do we remember that we are great sinners?
예수님의 사랑이 놀랍습니다. 그 크신 사랑을 깊이 느끼십니까? 어쩌면 당연하다고 생각하십니까? The love of Jesus is amazing. Do you feel the love deeply? Do you think the love for granted?
이 여자처럼, 예수님의 바로 앞에 서지도 못하고 뒷 켠에 서서, 감히 얼굴은 어쩌지 못하고 발에 대고 눈물로 씻으며 입맞춤하는 그런 사람, 그런 사람이 큰 사랑을 입습니다. 주님께서 원하시는 사람이 바로 그런 사람입니다. Like this woman, standing not in front but back of Jesus, washing the feet with tears with kisses, we get the great love. Jesus wants us serving Jesus and his people.
교회를 섬기는 것은 교회의 머리되신 예수님을 섬기는 것입니다. 교회 와서 쓸고 닦으며 말없이 봉사하는 것은 누구 보라고 하는 것이 아닙니다. 하늘에 계신 우리 구주 예수님을 섬기는 것입니다. Serving church is serving Jesus, the head of the church. Serving fellow Christians at church is serving Jesus who is in church and the heaven.
예수님의 사랑이 너무 커서, 생각만 해도 눈물이 솟구치는 것을 어쩔 수 없습니다. 숨어 봉사라도 해야 마음이 편한, 그런 사람으로 살아가야 합니다. Thinking of the love of Jesus, we cannot but drop tears. We are the Christians serving Jesus and get peace from him.
이 여자는 우리 자신의 모습입니다. 주님의 사랑을 많이 입은 사람입니다. The woman can be identified with ourselves. Both she and we are the ones with much love of Jesus.
터널을 걸어 보신 적이 있습니까? 아무리 걸어도 끝이 보이지 않다가, 드디어 저기 먼 곳에 점 하나 보이는 것을 경험해 보셨습니까? 터널을 빠져 나올 때의 상쾌함! Have you ever walked through a tunnel? Have you ever experienced looking at the gate after a long walk? What a wonderful joy after the tunnel!
우리 주님 예수 그리스도를 만난 기쁨입니다. It is the joy of meeing Jesus Christ.
죄가 많으면 많을수록 인생의 터널이 길고 어둡습니다. 그런데, 그 길고 어두운 터널인 만큼, 거기서 빠져 나온 기쁨은 상상할 수가 없습니다. With much sins, the tunnel of life is long and dark. The joy of coming out of the tunnel is so great that we cannot express with words.
우리의 죄를 사해주신 예수님. 그분께 우리는 무엇을 드려야 할까요? Jesus saved us from the death. What can we give him back?
1. 값진 향유를 드려야 합니다. We must return him perfume to him.
그 여자에게서 향유는 가진 모든 것이었습니다. 오늘 우리가 가진 모든 것, 재능과 젊음, 그 모든 것을 주님께 바쳐야겠습니다. The perfume was everything for the woman. Today, we are to return what we have: talents, youth, and time.
2. 주님의 발 앞에 엎드려 입맞춤을 드려야 합니다. We must bow down to Jesus and kiss his feet.
우리 식으로 하자면, 진지한 ‘인사’를 드려야 합니다. “주님, 감사합니다!” 그렇게 감사와 찬양을 드려야 합니다. Applied to our custom, we must greet him sincerely. "O Jesus, we thank you!" We must praise the Lord with thanksgiving and joy.
바리새인의 경우, 하나님이신 예수님께서 자기의 집을 방문하셨다면, 황송해서 엎드려 절해야 할텐데 적당히 대우했습니다. 인사가 없었습니다. 무시한 것입니다. As for the Pharisee, with Jesus' visitation at his home, he had to bow down and greet him. But he did not. He ignored.
오늘 우리는 우리를 찾아오신 예수님을 어떻게 대접하고 있습니다. 예배시간, 우리는 주님 앞에 있습니다. 신령과 진정의 예배를 바르게 드리고 있습니까? Today, how do we treat the Lord Jesus who visited us? In worship, do we glorify him with the Spirit and and the Truth?
3. 그에 앞서 눈물로 주님의 발을 적셔드려야 합니다. First of all, we must wash the feet of Jesus with our tears of repentance.
3-1. 회개의 눈물입니다. The tears of repentance
죄인이었던 여자가, 죄 사함 받기 위해서는 회개해야 했습니다. 회개의 눈물을 주님 앞에 흘려야 합니다. The sinner woman repented to be forgiven. We need to repent our sins to Jesus.
“이러므로 첫 언약도 피 없이 세운 것이 아니니, 모세가 율법대로 모든 계명을 온 백성에게 말한 후에 송아지와 염소의 피와 및 물과 붉은 양털과 우슬초를 취하여 그 책과 온 백성에게 뿌려 이르되 ‘이는 하나님이 너희에게 명하신 언약의 피라’ 하고, 또한 이와 같이 피로써 장막과 섬기는 일에 쓰는 모든 그릇에 뿌렸느니라. 율법을 좇아 거의 모든 물건이 피로써 정결케 되나니, 피 흘림이 없은즉 사함이 없느니라.” This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood. When Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people. He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep." In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of the blood there is no forgiveness. 히브리서 Hebrews 9:18-22
예수님께서 우리 죄를 사하시기 위해 주님의 피를 흘렸습니다. 주님께서 죽으심으로써 우리가 산 것입니다. 이에 대한 우리의 반응은 당연히 ‘눈물’이어야 합니다. Jesus gave us his precious blood to save our sins. As he died, we lived. The response to the face is very naturally tears.
3-2. 감동의 눈물입니다. The tears with touchingness
주님 앞에 나아가는 사람은 누구나 떨림과 감격이 있어야 합니다. 그것이 없이, 그저 교회 밖이나 안이 똑같다면, 크게 잘못된 것입니다. Anyone who comes to God, he has to be with trembling and touchingness. Without them, something is wrong.
십자가만 바라보아도 감동이 일어야 합니다. 기도하고 바라면서 주님 앞에 나아와야 합니다. 하나님께서 우리에게 바라시는 신령과 진정의 예배를 드릴 수 있어야 합니다. The Cross gives us touchingness. We are to come to Jesus with prayer. We are to worship God with the Truth and the Spirit.
감동은 ‘준비’ 없이는 올 수 없습니다. 기다리고 사모하는 마음이 있어야 합니다. 한 주일 내내, 주일예배를 위해 준비해야 합니다. Touchingness cannot come without preparation. We must wiat for Jesus. During the week, we must long for the Sunday worship.
결론
예수님의 얼굴을 똑바로 바라보지 못한 죄 많은 여자처럼, 우리는 주님 앞에 서면 부끄러움을 견딜 수 없습니다. 그러나, 우리 주님께서 그 모든 죄를 사해주시고, 이제 주님의 자녀로 삼아 주셨습니다. Like the woman who could not see the face of Jesus directly, standing in front of Jesus, we are ashamed of ourselves. But Jesus forgave our sins, and adopted us as his children.
주님께서 이 여자에게 말씀하셨습니다: “네 죄 사함을 얻었느니라.” 이어서 주님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “네 믿음이 너를 구원하였으니, 평안히 가라!” Jesus said to her: "Your sins are forgiven." And Jesus continued, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."
우리가 누리고 있는 평안은 주님께서 주시는 것입니다. ‘죄 사함’과 ‘구원’ 없는 평안은 거짓 평안입니다. 평안처럼 보이지만, 실제는 속이 썩은 것입니다. The peace we now have came from Jesus. The peace without forgiveness and salvation is a false one.
죄가 사해져야 합니다. 같은 죄가 반복되어서는 안됩니다. 죄의 사슬에서 벗어나야 ‘구원’입니다. 길고 긴 터널을 빠져 나온 은혜와 기쁨이 있어야 ‘참된 평안’입니다. Sins are to be forgiven. Same sins are not to b repeated. We can get salvation after coming out of the yoke of sins. Having come out of the long and dark tunnel of sins we now enjoy the true peace with grace and joy.
일평생 죄에 시달렸던 이 여자가 예수님을 만났습니다. 이 만난 기회를 그냥 버리지 않았습니다. 자기 집을 방문해 주신 예수님을 소홀히 대접한 바리새인 시몬과 달리, 이 여자는 사람들의 냉대에도 불구하고 ‘최선의 것’을 드렸습니다. 곧 자기 자신을 드린 것입니다. The woman who had been suffering from sins met Jesus. She did not ignore the precious chance. Unlike Simon who did not treat Jesus, she gave Jesus all she had. She devoted herself to Jesus.
이로써 이 여자는 죄 사함을 받았고, 구원을 받았으며, 평안을 선물로 받았습니다. By this, the woman was forgiven, saved and got the peace as a gift.
오늘 이 여자의 삶이 바로 여러분 자신의 삶이 되시기를 축복합니다. 이 여자를 기쁘게 만나 주시고, 눈물을 흘리며 그 발을 닦는 것을 허락하신 주님, 아울러 그 여자가 붓는 향유를 기쁨으로 받으신 주님, 그 사랑의 이름으로 여러분을 축복합니다. May God bless you so that the woman's life be your own lives. Jesus welcomed the woman, permitted her to wash his feet with her tears and let her pour the perfume. I bless you all in Jesus' name.
여러분의 모든 죄가, 오늘 이 시간에 사함 받은 것을 나는 믿습니다. 다시는 같은 죄를 짓지 말고, 우리 구주 예수님 안에서 진정한 자유를 누리시기를 바랍니다. 아멘. I believe that all your sins are forgiven today this hour. Commit not the same sins and get the true freedom in Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
기도
은혜로우신 아버지 하나님. 예수님을 만나 정성을 다했던 이 여자처럼, 저희들이 주님 만나 최선의 삶을 드리게 하옵소서. 그리하여 주님께서 주시는 죄 사함과 구원, 참된 평안을 영원히 누리게 하옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘. Gracious Father God. Like the woman who met Jesus and gave what she had to Jesus, let us devote our lives to Jeus Christ, so that we might get the forgiveness, salvation, and the true peace forever and ever. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
